Shawanna has over 30 years of experience working with elementary students. She currently teaches first grade in Durham and specializes in helping students in Kindergarten through 5th grade strengthen their reading and math skills. Her goal is to create a supportive learning environment where students feel confident, capable, and motivated to grow. Each tutoring session is personalized to meet your child’s individual needs, using targeted instruction, engaging activities, and ongoing assessments to track progress.
